Demonstrating a Commitment to Integration

As the leaders of the local health care system in Waterloo Wellington, our mission is to lead a high-quality, integrated health system for our residents.  Integrated health systems lead to better health outcomes, better patient/client experiences and better value for taxpayer dollars.

Health service providers in Waterloo Wellington are stepping up to demonstrate their commitment to leading integrations that are in the best interest of residents.

These commitments demonstrate how the boards and leaders of our Health Service Providers plan to identify and act on integration, as outlined in the Local Health System Integration Act (LHISA)*.

These integrations are an integral function of Health Service Providers as they work towards fulfilling obligations in their Service Accountability Agreements and providing better health-better futures for the residents of Waterloo Wellington.

The Governors of the following organizations have passed motions that support advancing local health system integrations.
